DIY EXTREME LIP PLUMPER

I have always loved the look of having full lips and the "burning sensation" from lip plumper. Plumping glosses from beauty stores are often over priced and run out in a few weeks, and lip filler is expensive and doesn't last more than a year or two. After doing some reading, I created my ideal lip plumping gloss with ingredients I already had at home!

Warning: if you do not like the sting from plumping glosses, do not try to make this extreme lip plumper (it is very intense).
Steps
1) Find a Gloss
Grab any old lipgloss you have laying around at home. It needs to be one that you can open because you will be adding ingredients into the bottle. I used the Almay Goddess Gloss for glitter, as well as the Too Faced Lip Injection for EXTRA plump. If you want something thicker or do not have any gloss, Vaseline or Aquaphor will be perfect.
2) Spices
The amount of spice you decide to add depends on how much of a burn you want. The main spice that plumps your lips (and adds a little color) is cayenne pepper. This can be very spicy so be careful. I also add a hint of ground cinnamon. Roll up an index card to use as a funnel and pour in a little of each! I use about half a teaspoon.
3) Essential Oils
Another great plumping ingredient is peppermint essential oil. I add a few drops for a tingle that feels minty and fresh. This is also strong so be careful not to overdo it. I then like to add a few drops of lavender essential oil for some scent and soothing properties.
4) Mix and Apply!
Apply a small amount of the gloss and give it a few minutes to kick in. You can keep it on and wear it as a dark nude gloss, or let it sit for a few minutes before wiping it off and applying your favorite lip combo. The effects will still last! This is the most effective lip plumper I have ever used, let me know if you try it out in the comments!
